[Hokkaido] Enjoy the delicious underground water of Mount Daisetsu at "Daisetsu Asahidake Source Water"

Higashikawa Town in eastern Hokkaido is known as a village of famous water.

The town is so blessed with water that all of the tap water in the town comes from spring water.

The "Daisetsu Asahidake Gensui" Park on the outskirts of Higashikawa Town is a spring water spot where meltwater from Mt. Daisetsu flows.

The water temperature is kept at 6-7 degrees throughout the year, and anyone in the park can freely draw water.

The mellow and sweet underground water from Mt. Daisetsu makes rice and other dishes taste better, and the freshly brewed coffee is exceptional.

The spring water can be seen next to the water drawing area. There is a 300m walking path leading to the spring, which is cool all year round and a natural cooling spot in the summer.

A beautiful moss-covered stream spreads around the source, making it a soothing spot to see and taste.
