Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto

The next place you shouldn't miss in Kyoto is the architectural conservation district in Higashiyama, a famous area with Kiyomizu Temple, Yosaka Shrine, and Yasaka Tower, a 46-meter-high five-story pagoda, as its main highlights.
The 5-kilometer stretch of this district, along the 5-kilometer stretch of this road, is full of excitement at every point and every shop where you can stop to buy cute souvenirs, take pictures with beautiful landmarks, or take pictures of the strange atmosphere along the road until your legs are numb.
But there are also food and sweets to refuel along the way.
