Himeji Castle: A Stunning and Massive Experience

Himeji Castle is so huge! It's the first time I've seen such a large castle in Japan, and I even spotted a lucky star.

🕰️ Opening Hours: Not sure what time it opens, but the last entry is at 4:30 PM, and it closes at 5:00 PM. Our guide kept reminding us about this timing 🤣

🏖️ Atmosphere/Facilities: It's incredibly large—be prepared, or you might be overwhelmed. Due to time constraints, we only explored the main keep, which was absolutely magnificent.

💰 Cost per Person: 1,000 yen for admission.

Himeji Castle is stunning and clearly well-maintained. The stairs are extremely steep, and coming down is even scarier 😱. At the very top, there's a small shrine-like structure, but you can't go outside to view the surroundings; you can only look through the windows. It's quite different from other castles I've seen before. On the way down, I even encountered a lucky star ❤️.
