Strolling through Hiroshima's famous Shukkeien Garden

A day trip to Hiroshima Shukkeien is an experience of enchanting beauty. Shukkeien is a traditional Japanese garden in Hiroshima City that attracts countless tourists with its exquisite landscape design and peaceful atmosphere. This garden was originally built in the Edo period and was once the villa of the feudal lord. Now it has become a paradise in the city, allowing people to temporarily forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

The moment I stepped into Shukkei-en, I was attracted by the natural beauty before my eyes. The garden is filled with flowing water, rockery and pavilions, and the scenery changes with every step. Every place is like a painting. The koi in the pond swim leisurely in the clear water, forming a harmonious picture with the stone lanterns and pine trees on the shore. I particularly like the "Yuebo Tower" pavilion in the garden. Standing here you can overlook the entire garden, which is full of greenery and picturesque scenery.

As I strolled along the path, I found that the design concept of the Shrinkage Garden is truly a "shrinking of the world", and every corner cleverly presents the changes of the four seasons. The cherry blossoms in spring, the maple leaves in autumn, and the green shade in summer all show their unique charm in different seasons. It was autumn when I visited. The red and yellow maple leaves set off the buildings in the garden, adding a warm color that was really fascinating.

Finally, I took a break in the tea room, savored a cup of matcha, and relaxed. The fresh aroma of tea and the scenery outside the window make me feel more peaceful. This trip to Shukkeien not only allowed me to appreciate the beauty of traditional Japanese gardens, but also made me deeply appreciate the Japanese people's meticulous observation and awe of nature.

The one-day trip to Shukkei Garden allowed me to fully enjoy the close contact with nature and left me with endless aftertastes. Such exquisite landscape design and quiet atmosphere are undoubtedly a highlight of the trip to Hiroshima.
