This trip to Hoi An was like stepping back in time. This small riverside town is filled with a blend of Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese cultures.
We started by strolling through the old town. The charming, faded yellow buildings with peeling walls, and colorful lanterns hung in every nook and cranny, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere even before dark. As we continued walking, we came across Mot, a must-visit restaurant. We ordered a cold Mot herbal drink. It was sweet, fragrant, and refreshing. The aroma of lemongrass, basil, and a light floral fragrance made it incredibly refreshing. Taking photos with the glass decorated with fresh flowers perfectly complemented the Hoi An atmosphere.
In the evening, we walked along the riverbank and saw basket boats floating on the Thu Bon River. The lights from the lanterns shimmered on the water. People released lanterns, making the entire river seem to be filled with stars. Everything was simple, yet incredibly special.
For those who love walking around the city, taking photos, or just want a quiet place to soak in the good vibes, Hoi An is a must-do destination.
