Sha Tin Che Kung Temple, Hong Kong
Che Kung Temple, or as we Thais know it as the Windmill Temple, is a temple that the Chinese have revered and believed in for a long time. It was built 300 years ago to commemorate a great warrior named “Che Kung”. He was a warrior in the Song Dynasty who was skilled and a general who defeated the war. His army symbol was a windmill. It is said that if you come to pray here, it will help blow away bad things and bring good luck into your life.
It is believed that when you come here, you must turn the windmill because turning the windmill in the opposite direction at this temple will help turn your life from bad to good. It will also make things smooth and bring wealth like a windmill that is bending in the wind.
