DAY 1:
When you arrive at Hong Kong Airport, don’t rush to take the Airport Express to the city. You can take a bus to Ngong Ping 360 first. It is known as one of the top ten cable car experiences in the world. It allows you to deeply explore Lantau Island, such as the Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery, Tai O Fishing Village, etc. It is a must-see tourist attraction in Hong Kong. After going down the mountain, it is much cheaper to take the subway to the city. The hotel we stayed in was in Tsim Sha Tsui, where there are the famous Peninsula Hotel and Chungking Mansions. Today, the first floor of Chungking Mansions sells all kinds of 3C, mobile phones, computers and tablets... and other products. There are many hotels and youth hostels upstairs. The environment feels very chaotic, and there are many Indians, so I didn’t stay for long. I still let Chungking Mansions maintain the beautiful memory of the movie in my mind!
After checking in at the hotel, we strolled to Victoria Harbour. The skyscrapers on the other side were all lit up with lights, and the ferries and yachts passing by on the sea created a very beautiful impression of Hong Kong... Outside Starbucks, there are statues of Bruce Lee and Hong Kong's daughter, Anita Mui. We ordered a lightly sugared cappuccino at a café by the harbor and enjoyed the night view of this port city with my beloved wife.
