Tuen Mun Master Chef Congee Shop

Yesterday, my sister and I were walking around Tuen Mun and saw a new congee shop. We wanted something light, so we went in to eat.

Even on a regular evening, it was very crowded. We had freshly cooked congee. My sister chose the silky beef and fish slice congee, and I picked the deluxe congee. Since we were quite hungry, we also ordered crispy beef tongue and fresh shrimp rice rolls.

The silky beef came in big pieces, and with the fish slices, the congee base was very fresh and sweet. It was piping hot and delicious.

The deluxe congee was just as good, especially the yellow sand pork liver, which was so smooth and tender—highly recommended. The other ingredients like pork intestines and tripe were also tasty and very rich.

Another highlight was the crispy beef tongue, which was hot, soft, and fluffy. I couldn’t stop eating piece after piece 🥰 and the portions were big and great value.

The shrimp rice rolls were also very generous 🥰, with shrimp in every bite.

We originally wanted to order white sugar cake, but unfortunately, it was sold out. We switched to the brown sugar cake, which was also delicious 🤤.

This meal was very cost-effective—spent just a hundred bucks and left with a full belly 😊.
