Explore Hong Kong's Volcanic Rock Islet - Pak Kwo Chau

An islet formed by hexagonal columnar volcanic rocks
The unique geographical formation is truly spectacular to see in person
You can go hiking and adventuring 🧗🏼‍♀️ or explore underwater 🤿

Departing by pre-booked speedboat from Clear Water Bay Second Beach
It is recommended to leave in the morning and return in the evening
Here is our check-in route:
Tai Jo Hau ➡️ Silver Bottle Neck ➡️ Western-style Coffin Rock ➡ Moon Cliff ➡ Cannon Rock
This route does not require swimming, just walking along the coastal edge
Even those without experience can climb the mountain via steps and concrete paths
Enjoy the volcanic rock wonders on both sides of the shore

Personally, I find Cannon Rock the most stunning
Aerial shots can capture an even more breathtaking view
Backed by Moon Cliff, you can see the hexagonal columnar volcanic rocks
But you need to climb up (not recommended for inexperienced people)

Pak Kwo Chau is a deserted island with no supplies!
Please prepare enough food and water, bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent
Wearing water and land shoes makes it easier to go up the mountain and into the sea
