Mui Wo|This secluded little island in Hong Kong can be enjoyed for a whole day

The only downside: cash only!!!

Departed from Futian at 9:59 to West Kowloon, took the MTR one stop from Kowloon Station to Hong Kong Station, then walked to Central Pier 6 (very close!), just in time for the 11:50 fast ferry from Central to Mui Wo, arriving around 12:20. There are plenty of eateries near the pier, perfect for lunch~

Walk along the beach and grab a HKD 6 pineapple ice to cool down! Midway along the beach, enter the village and hike 15 minutes uphill to Silvermine Waterfall, plus a short stream trekking section to play in the water, super fun~ Then head to the popular photo spot the hideout (navigate to "Fire Station") for afternoon tea/dinner (around HKD 100 per person). On the way, pass by Mui Wo Laundry Company—don’t forget to take a nice photo!

At night, return directly by MTR, super convenient~ Back to Futian by 22:00, a full 12-hour trip, the little one fell asleep as soon as they touched the bed [smirk]

📌Tip: Used Apple Maps for navigation the whole way, the route is super clear!
