Visited the new exhibition at Oil Street, Fortress Hill the other day. Before the visit, we went to this nearby cafe for a meal. I had actually been to the Happy Valley branch earlier and found the food quite good, so this time I dined at the Fortress Hill location. Two of us each ordered a main dish and a drink.
The pesto mushroom potato balls have a slightly chewy texture, and each piece is pan-fried to a crispy, slightly charred outer layer. Not overly seasoned, just a bit of salt 🧂 and fresh, healthy pesto. Simple yet delicious.
The Milanese risotto with roasted Italian sausage has a moderate firmness. The risotto sauce is a bit creamy. The Italian sausage is cut into small pieces and doesn’t feel greasy. Parmesan cheese 🧀 is sprinkled on the risotto, giving the whole dish a savory flavor.
The Hot Chocolate 🍫 isn’t too sweet, just right. The Latte ☕️ is neither bitter, sour, nor astringent, with a rich coffee aroma complemented by a unique milky fragrance.
