Hong Kong has always been known as the "International Food Capital," offering a rich variety of dining options that bring together cuisines from around the world. Among them, many Japanese "overseas dragons" have arrived, including the ever-popular "Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko Hannosuke," where the queues never seem to diminish. Known for its generous portions and high-quality food, it has become a popular queueing spot in Tokyo in recent years. And Hong Kong has many branches too!
The restaurant offers a variety of mini rice bowls and Hokkaido soba noodle sets at different lunch prices, with many choices and combinations.
🌟 Deluxe Oyster Tempura Rice Bowl + Beef Hokkaido Soba Noodles
The oysters are super large and thick, fried to a fragrant crisp with a generous portion. Paired with beef soba noodles, the flavors complement each other perfectly.
🌟 Mentaiko Tsukimi Inaniwa Udon with Tempura & Sushi Set
This slightly spicy mentaiko tsukimi Inaniwa udon feels very refreshing and perfect for summer, whetting the appetite. The special sauce pairs well with the chewy udon, crispy tempura, and salmon sushi, creating distinct layers of flavor.
🌟 Tsukimi Chicken Hamburger & Tempura Set
The juicy chicken hamburger combined with the rich-flavored Japanese egg and special sauce offers a triple delight.
🌟 Hannosuke Salad
Fresh salad greens are crisp, complemented by sweet and juicy cherry tomatoes and crispy fried shrimp, along with sea grapes that add a distinctly Japanese touch.
🌟 Shrimp Tempura Oshizushi
Rectangular sushi rice topped with ingredients, tempura shrimp, and a bit of ginger, creating a rich and layered taste.
Additionally, the restaurant features a signature 30cm-long anago tempura, with thick, plump, and tender meat. If you love anago, don’t miss this.
Traditional tendon places freshly fried ingredients on top of rice and evenly drizzles tendon sauce so that every piece of tempura is coated. However, tendon tempura is not as crispy as regular tempura; the goal is for each piece to be moderately coated with sauce.
Most dishes at the restaurant are fried, which can feel a bit greasy after a while. They offer black soybean tea to help with digestion, which is one of their special features.
