Lately, it's been almost 30 degrees every day, hot and humid—perfect for eating winter melon soup.
After sitting down, the waiter brought peanuts seasoned with cumin powder, salty and crispy, making it hard to stop eating.
🔸 Emperor Seafood Eight Treasure Winter Melon Soup
The portion of the winter melon soup is super generous!
😝 My husband drank 6 bowls, and I had 4 bowls—enough for 10 people.
👍🏻 The ingredients are truly authentic, using a whole winter melon. It contains crispy and sweet fresh lily bulbs, lotus seeds that aren’t bitter, dried scallops, generous crab meat, fresh and sweet flavors, bouncy shrimp meat, chicken, lean pork, and best of all, added conch heads that make the broth even sweeter. The winter melon flesh is tender and smooth.
🔸 Braised Pigeon
The pigeon skin is crispy, the meat tender, juicy, with a slight charred aroma.
🔸 Fresh Chinese Yam and Abalone Chicken Pot
This dish is best paired with white rice.
It sizzles when served, piping hot. The abalone has a slightly chewy texture, the fresh Chinese yam is crisp, the chicken tender, and the sauce tastes like corn chicken with a bit of satay sauce—definitely needs some white rice.
