A Hidden Island in Hong Kong

Wong Mau Chau is located off the coast of Sai Kung East Country Park, in the waters opposite Mai Fan Tsui, north of Tap Mun, and has no residents on the island. It takes about 10 minutes by speedboat from Tap Mun. There is a small beach, and behind the beach is the Imperial Concubine Pool, a natural small swimming pool formed by surrounding rocks. The highest point of Wong Mau Chau features a white lighthouse numbered 118, from which you can see a 360-degree panoramic sea view. The entire island can be walked around in 45 minutes; only visit on good weather days, or you will be disappointed. On weekdays with good weather, swimming, snorkeling, or photography are all excellent.
