Manor Club - Rosewood Hong Kong

The Manor Club is located on the 40th floor of the hotel and is available to guests staying in some of the hotel's rooms and suites. It is open from 7am to 10pm daily. Since we stayed in a suite, the staff took us to the manor club when we checked in on the second floor and handed us over to the bulter, which was a very convenient process.

Basically, Manor Club serves a variety of drinks throughout the day, and also has set time periods for breakfast, refreshments, etc.
- Breakfast hours: 07:00-11:00
- Afternoon tea time: 14:00-16:00
- Evening Cocktail: 17:00-20:00

Sandwiches, fruits and some desserts are provided during the afternoon tea time. I tried four kinds of them in two days. They tasted good. There were also desserts such as macarons, cakes, strawberry tarts, etc. Although the desserts were good, I personally preferred the savory ones. Scone (original/raisin) is also available during afternoon tea time, but I personally feel that it is too solid and not soft enough. Especially during the afternoon tea time, they provide wonton noodles, the shrimp meat is refreshing and worth a try.

During the Evening Cocktail period, there are snacks to go with wine. Cheese and ham are of course provided. On both days, there were spring rolls, fried wontons, barbecued pork, roast pork and chicken skewers. Personally, I think the roast pork and chicken skewers are the most delicious. I would like to especially introduce the Thai boat noodles, beef balls, and slightly sour and spicy soup, which is very appetizing. The chef recommends adding a small amount of sugar and vinegar as the formal way to eat it. I ended up eating two bowls 🤣🤣

There are many choices for breakfast, including herbed pork/chicken sausage, porridge, fried dough sticks, shrimp dumplings, siu mai, various breads, omelettes, etc. I personally recommend the century egg and lean meat porridge and shrimp dumplings, both are good.

There are many choices of drinks, various types of juices and coffees are available, and red and white wine and champagne are available all day. There are also three cocktails on offer. If the weather is good, you can grab a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset.

The staff are very polite. When they see you finish your drink, they will ask if you want more. They are very quick. There are not many people on weekdays, so it is very comfortable to sit here for a whole day. It is worth mentioning that there is a billiard table on the other side. If you are interested, you can go and try it.

Personally, I think everyone should try Manor Club if possible. The food quality and service are both of high standard.
