We took a trip to see the awe-inspiring Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island, and it was absolutely worth it! Due to a typhoon, the cable car was closed, so we took a taxi instead—but nothing could diminish the experience.

The Buddha statue is incredibly divine and majestic. It's truly a magnificent sight from every angle. What was really special was seeing the traditional temple grounds surrounded by Hong Kong's lush tropical plants; it gave the whole area a serene, almost Southeast Asian temple vibe.

The sheer scale and peaceful atmosphere of the Tian Tan Buddha make it a powerful and memorable stop for anyone visiting Hong Kong.
