Tian Tan Buddha

Honestly, visiting Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha) was one of the calmest and most beautiful moments of my Hong Kong trip. It’s not just a tourist spot—it really feels like stepping into a peaceful world above the clouds.
🚡 The Cable Car Ride – My Favorite Part!
The journey there was already an adventure. I took the Ngong Ping 360 cable car and wow, it was such a beautiful ride! Watching the city slowly disappear and the mountains get closer was magical. The higher we went, the cooler the air felt, and the fog started to roll in like we were floating right into the sky. If you’re up for it, try the glass floor cabin—it’s a little scary but super fun!
🌫️ Chilly & Misty Weather
When I arrived, the weather totally surprised me. It was cool, quiet, and covered in mist. I didn’t expect it to be that cold, so definitely bring a jacket! Sometimes, the Buddha was half hidden by clouds, which made the whole place feel extra peaceful and almost unreal. It’s like being in a movie scene where the world just slows down.
🛕 Up Close with the Big Buddha
Standing under the Big Buddha was incredible—huge! I loved slowly walking up the stairs, just taking it all in. Even though there were other people around, it didn’t feel crowded or rushed. The calmness there really made me forget about the busy city life.
✨ Would I Go Again? 100% Yes.
If you ever go to Hong Kong, please don’t miss this. The cable car, the cool weather, the peaceful vibe—everything just felt right. It’s one of those places that stays with you. 💭💕
