The latest special exhibition 👑 "Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Treasures of the Mughal Dynasty – From the Victoria and Albert Museum" has officially opened ☺️.
The exhibition features nearly 100 diverse artifacts 👍🏼, including paintings, jewelry, architectural elements, weapons, textiles, ceramics, and more. Some items are from the Victoria and Albert Museum 🇬🇧, while others come from Kuwait, the UK, and other significant international collections 💗.
🌟 Highlights to See 🌟
Must-see highlights include a rosewater sprinkler used in royal banquets 🌹, a dazzling ruby and emerald pendant and thumb ring 💍, a jewel-encrusted stationery box, and a ram-headed gem-studded dagger. There's also a meticulously crafted mother-of-pearl 🐚 inlaid storage box that will leave you mesmerized!
Don't miss 👀 the deep pink spinel engraved with the names of several Mughal emperors in Persian script 👑, symbolizing supreme imperial power. These artifacts showcase the artistic brilliance of the Mughal Dynasty.
In terms of architecture, there's a multimedia installation themed around the Taj Mahal! Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century to commemorate his beloved wife 💗, the Taj Mahal's perfectly symmetrical design and stunningly intricate geometric screens have made it one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World," symbolizing eternal love.
