It was my first time to visit the Hong Kong Railway Museum. I was very excited because most of my life has been spent in the New Territories, and trains have really been part of my life growing up. Admission to the museum is free and the location is easy to get to. The entire station was rebuilt from the old Tai Po Market Railway Station and retains many old buildings and items, which are quite precious. The exhibition hall also provides a detailed introduction to the transportation history of Hong Kong railways. The most special ones are of course several train cars of considerable historical value. The first diesel locomotive introduced in 1955 is definitely worth a visit.
