From a former prison to today's cultural space: A Taikwan travelogue

Tai Kwun, located in the heart of Hong Kong.
Once a heavy and cold prison, it has now been transformed into a multi-cultural space featuring diverse exhibitions, performances, and even films.
The old prison buildings are still preserved,
and it was fascinating to see the narrow cells, high walls,
and the vestiges of the past up close.
An outdoor movie was even shown in the prison yard.
What I expected to be a somber atmosphere,
was instead filled with energy, with modern art and exhibitions interwoven throughout.
Walking through the scenery, where past and present coexisted, I felt like I discovered another charm of Hong Kong.
