New Thai cuisine in Kai Tak! Playing with Thai ingredients rarely seen in Hong Kong?!🌿🍅

Not to mention, there is a newly opened light luxury Thai restaurant on the ground floor of Kai Tak Sports Park. Although the location is a bit hidden, Kai Tak Sports Park is located at 38-39 Cheung Kai Road, Kowloon City, Hong Kong. It is open from 7am to 11pm, perfect for concert photos or weekend gatherings🕺.

This time I tried their double taste menu with my friends, appetizers, salads, grilled items, vegetables, curry, desserts are all available, very high CP value 💯!

The name of the appetizer "Tomato Symphony" is fancy enough, but the taste is really surprising! Fried bean curd skin crispy like chips, with homemade chili sauce, plus tomatoes and grapefruit, while eating while listening to a symphony (laughs); "Banana flower salad" is super rare in Hong Kong, banana flowers shredded crispy and salted egg yolk, lychee, chicken strips and tiger prawns.

To the main course, the "Thai Grilled Spring" spring chicken grilled until the skin is crispy and the meat is tender, topped with homemade lemongrass fish sauce, sour and spicy, super appetizing! "Farmer's Coconut Core" uses coconut core imported directly from Thailand, like tender asparagus, then fried into the golden and pork loin, full of pan 🔥! The curry is cooked with fresh crab meat and coconut juice. It is rich and not greasy. The fried herring and vegetable strips are dipped in the curry. It has a Thai street feel

Dessert "True Sago Dew" uses natural sago, which is super soft and glutinous, with rich coconut flavor but not too sweet; crispy pizza with coconut cream, salty and sweet, perfect ending!

It's worth mentioning that there are so many specialty handmade dishes here for $300 per person. It's absolutely affordable! It's not just spicy, the ingredients and methods are thoughtful enough, especially using many rare Thai ingredients in Hong Kong such as banana flowers, coconut core, and natural sago, perfect for Foodie who likes freshness🤤! The service is Friendly, the environment is comfortable and not too formal. The only thing to note is that the location is more hidden, remember to pay attention to the instructions of the venue to avoid getting lost.

Be sure to find a friend to try the four-person menu again before watching the show next time! I heard that "Thai Gong Guan Curry" is cooked with raw durian, which is super special😲!

Background tip: The restaurant team has been opening Asura since 2022, specializing in authentic Thai cuisine. This time, the Thai Mansion focuses on private recipes, which are exquisite and playful. If you want to eat good food but don't want to be too rigid, this Thai restaurant in Kai Tak Sports Park is a must-try!
