Shing Mun Reservoir, Hong Kong

Beginner-friendly, 2-3 hour hike.
The route is simple and easy, similar to an industrial road, or you can take a longer, more forested route along the periphery.
Attractions: Melaleuca alternifolia forest, dam, and reservoir. Views of Hong Kong's numerous islands and wild monkeys are available (please observe the precautions, such as "Do not feed them").
