This Shanghai restaurant is very budget-friendly, offering a wide variety of choices at reasonable prices. I tried their lunch set menu, and it was truly worth it!
First, I had their Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles. The noodles were springy, paired with a rich and spicy Sichuan broth, topped with minced meat, peanuts, and more—so aromatic!
Another set included Sweet and Sour Pork with Rice. The pork was served hot, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. I also tried the Bitter Melon Stir-fried with Beef. The beef was tender, and the bitter melon had a pleasant bitterness.
The accompanying organic soy milk was rich and flavorful, while the Corn and Fish Maw Soup was packed with ingredients. We also ordered the Cordyceps Flower Chicken Soup and Xiao Long Bao. The chicken soup had a rich and hearty broth, served in a large bowl that could be shared by two. The Xiao Long Bao had juicy and flavorful fillings—quite good!
