Family, who gets it! Sailing the Victoria Harbour on a small sailboat with celebrities! The most surprising moment of this Hong Kong trip was definitely this✨ The Victoria Harbour shows two completely different vibes by day and night. I recommend boarding at dusk to get a double experience~
🚢 Must-try Victoria Harbour Experience
📍 Small Sailboat Tour: You can find classic small sailboats at the Star Ferry Pier. Remember to book in advance with sailing world champion Mr. Wu Shifu (you can find him on Xiaoshuo)! The best time is the 5 PM departure, just in time to see the sunset glow plus the night light show.
🌇 Best Viewing Spots: The sailboat passes landmarks like the Central Ferris Wheel, the Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower. Bring a telephoto lens for photos! We had an overcast day, which surprisingly gave the Victoria Harbour a cyberpunk vibe—an unexpected delight~
🌟 Handy Tips
1. Remember to bring a jacket! The sea breeze in Victoria Harbour is strong and it gets cold at night.
2. Snacks and drinks are provided on board, but you can bring some snacks yourself.
3. Arrive at the pier 30 minutes early to find a good spot for shooting.
4. Rainy days can actually create uniquely atmospheric photos.
🍜 Nearby Food Recommendations
After getting off the boat, walk 5 minutes to Tsim Sha Tsui:
- Wah So Ice Room: Pineapple buns like those of actor Shawn Yue
- Ichiran Ramen: The go-to for late-night dining
- Tim Ho Wan: Affordable Michelin dim sum
Although it’s just a short 1-hour boat ride, watching Hong Kong’s skyline slowly light up from Victoria Harbour is truly breathtaking! Especially the moments cheering and taking photos with celebrities—simply unforgettable~
