🐔 Arrived! Tsim Sha Tsui's cheap chicken rice
In the past, I always went to Xiao Yu Er to eat grilled fish during the dinner time. When I learned that there were value-for-money lunch sets during the lunch time, I decided to try it during the lunch time. The restaurant uses QR code to place orders, and the waiter will deliver the food after the order is placed.
🐔 Sichuan style chicken rice $38 (cold drink + $3)
It’s hard to imagine that in this day and age there is still a $38 option for lunch at a restaurant, so let’s try it out to see if it’s a Volatile or not. The guest meal comes with a plate of mouth-watering chicken and a full bowl of rice, which is quite filling.
🐔 The sauce of the mouth-watering chicken is similar to that of dandan noodles, which is thicker and just right for the chicken thighs. So happy! The chicken is quite tender and smooth, and there are peanuts on the mouth-watering chicken to enhance the flavor. The spiciness is moderate. In a nutshell, the taste is not excellent, but it is not bad either, and it is really worth it. The iced lemon tea we added was delicious, and for a decent lunch at $41, it was impeccable.
🔸Small summary:
The restaurant serves grilled fish for dinner, which I feel is better cooked. The lunch is normal, no wonder there is always a constant flow of people.
