Chuan Chuan Hotpot

Located in Times Square, Chuan Chuan offers side dishes or hotpot. We found the hotpot soup base appealing and decided to give it a try.

We chose the sauerkraut hotpot 🥬 and the fruity fish soup 🐟. The sauerkraut soup had a lot of sauerkraut and enoki mushrooms, which was sour and spicy. The fruity fish soup was also very special. The fish soup was topped with pears 🍐 and red dates, which was really sweet. The sweetness of the fish soup could be tasted just by drinking the soup, and the taste became stronger and stronger.

The mutton slices 🐑 are also of high quality, with a strong mutton flavor and a slightly strong smell, but my friend and I both like to eat mutton with a strong mutton flavor, so we are very satisfied! And the lamb goes well with both soup bases.

Finally, there is also homemade sweet potato vermicelli. The sweet potato vermicelli is wide and thick, so it has a good texture when eaten. It will not become too soft even after being cooked for a long time, and the taste is retained. Potato vermicelli is more suitable for the spicy sauerkraut hotpot base. It is very satisfying to drink the soup and then eat the potato vermicelli!
