Polin Temple, pray for blessings from the Big Buddha on the mountain. Hong Kong people believe that this place is very sacred. Some people come to pray for children, for business to prosper, and for success in various aspects.

Unfortunately, on the day we went, the weather up there suddenly changed compared to down below. It was very cold up there, and there was fog everywhere. We couldn't see the Big Buddha very clearly, but when we went down, there was no fog. The top was very high up, and the fog was thick like heaven.

How to get there: Take the MTR and get off at Tung Chung Station, exit B. After that, walk a short distance to take the Tung Chung Cable Car. It takes 30 minutes to get to the temple, but you have to walk up the hill for several hundred steps to pay homage to the Big Buddha.
