Children can enter the museum for free! Adults are free on Wednesdays

After visiting Sky100 to enjoy the beautiful scenery, you can go to the West Kowloon Cultural District next to it to visit the Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Palace Museum, which took 4 years to build! The Hong Kong Palace Museum and M+ echo each other. Their design concept is a fusion of Chinese and Western, ancient and modern times. It not only retains the modern characteristics of Hong Kong, but also inherits China's excellent traditional culture.

The Hong Kong Palace Museum will exhibit 914 loaned collections from the Palace Museum in phases, including 166 first-class cultural relics at the level of national treasures. Some of the collections have never been publicly exhibited. The museum now offers free admission to permanent exhibition halls 1 to 7 every Wednesday, and children aged 6 or under can enter for free.

Permanent exhibition halls include: (free)

Hall 9️⃣ Galloping Across the World: Over 100 artifacts from the Palace Museum and the Louvre, including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, etc., are on display to learn about the role of horses in history, art, military affairs, and politics, as well as the cultural significance they contain

Shawn wore vintage clothes to visit and take photos that day and stayed for more than three hours. There are also coffee shops and Chinese and Western restaurants near the Forbidden City. It is recommended to arrange the itinerary like this 👉🏻

Stop 1: Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 4, which show the life of the Ming and Qing courts. There are many interactive games and movies to watch, which is suitable for children to visit. There are also many check-in and photo spots.

Stop 2: The paid special exhibition halls 8 and 9 on the top floor. Each person can enter once with a ticket. There are many authentic paintings and calligraphy by famous artists that are exhibited for the first time in the past 10-30 years. It is worth seeing

Stop 3: You can take your time to visit the 3rd, 5th and 7th exhibition halls. It won’t be a pity if you can’t finish them all.
