Waste of afternoon tea with beautiful view and low cost performance

This is an afternoon tea included in the hotel's staycation package. It is served in the afternoon on the day of check-in, from 3pm to 5pm. However, due to the long check-in time, we were not seated until 4pm. Fortunately, the food was served quickly!

Location: On the basement level of the lobby, just opposite the auditorium.

Environment: Separate indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor area faces the check-in auditorium. The environment is quite beautiful. However, it was hot in the afternoon, so we didn’t sit outside. But I regretted it a little bit because the indoor environment is very ordinary. I never thought that there would be an open kitchen. With the tables around, it feels like a college student cafeteria. It is recommended to sit outside.

Service: Comes fast! Every afternoon tea comes with a Eurobeaute gift. Is that a bit stingy? Two people are eating together, but there is only one gift. How should they share it?

The appearance is good, red and white, but the shrimp flavor is relatively light, and the rice is only slightly grilled, so the overall taste is light.

It looks a bit like fried eggplant, the filling is rich, the wrap is crispy, not bad 👍🏻

🔻Crispy fried shrimp 🍤Toast🍞
It looks like a fried crab claw, and the filling is full of shrimp meat, very delicious😋, the outer layer is a thin layer of fried batter, and it is not greasy at all. It is the best shrimp toast I have ever eaten🤩

I originally didn’t like eating nuts, but I didn’t expect the taste to be such a pleasant surprise. The nuts brought out a strong popcorn aroma, but the taste was a little sweeter.

Yes, the egg roll does have a light flavor of matcha, but it doesn’t go well with the mango, and it feels a bit superfluous.

The mousse was smooth and tender, but a bit too sweet, and there was no pistachio flavor at all.

🔻Mini waffles🧇 with mango🥭 sauce
The texture of the waffles was weird, they were cold and soft, it felt like eating flour, no amount of mangoes could make up for it.

In conclusion, it is not worth spending NTD 270 per person on this mediocre afternoon tea with poor quality and no decoration. There are better options in the city.
