You often see azaleas in the city, but you don't see them spread out so beautifully, do you? You can see them in Tokyo! This time, I'd like to introduce Nezu Shrine in Bunkyo Ward, close to the University of Tokyo. There is also a place called Azalea Garden, where about 3,000 colorful azaleas are in full bloom! In addition, between the Azalea Garden and Nezu Shrine, there is Otome Inari Shrine, where there are rows of red torii gates, like those seen at Fushimi Inari in Kyoto. The collaboration between the azaleas and the torii gates is very beautiful and photogenic. As of April 11, they are just starting to change color, and it looks like they will be at their best from now on. Azaleas bloom at different times depending on the type, such as early, mid, and late blooming, but the best time to see them is around next weekend. I wonder if they will be at their best next weekend? The Bunkyo Azalea Festival is being held from March 30th to April 30th 🎉 Azalea Garden・Entry period: March 30th to April 30th・Opening hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm・Fee: 500 yen *Payment method is cash only・Note: Eating and drinking are prohibited inside the garden
That's it!
What do you think? It's a great place to visit in Tokyo, so be sure to check it out!
