Wat Huay Mongkol, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Wat Huay Mongkol, located in the Huay Kot community, Thap Tai Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, is home to the world's largest statue of Luang Pu Thuat. Originally named Wat Huay Kot, the temple was renamed Wat Huay Mongkol in 1952 when His Majesty the King visited and initiated a royal development project, bestowing the new name.
