This time, we traveled to Huai Khwang by BTS with the goal of visiting the Ganesha shrine. It was our first time traveling to Huai Khwang, and it was very convenient. As soon as we got off the station, we were in the heart of the area. We started by paying respects to Lord Ganesha and then walked around to find something to eat.
Initially, we intended to eat at a famous dim sum restaurant, but the queue was too long, so we continued walking until we found a Chinese restaurant. This place serves fresh noodles with various types to choose from. The food tastes authentically Chinese, so if you prefer strong flavors, it might not be to your liking, but personally, I loved it. The restaurant's braised beef was very tender, the soup was fragrant, and one bowl had a generous amount of noodles. I recommend one bowl for two people to share, as it would be just the right amount.
We ended our trip with a visit to a dessert shop called 'Tuang Thang,' which is right next to the BTS station. The menu was very interesting, with items like peanut brittle ice cream, which was unique but very delicious. Besides desserts, they also sell craft beer, making it a hit with all ages.
