Hualien Railway Cultural Park is a must-see for railway enthusiasts. Built in 1932, this courtyard-style wooden building boasts a retro entrance. Centrally located, green lawns and old trees complement the Japanese-style office building, creating a time-travel experience. After Hualien Station relocated, it was abandoned for a period. It took considerable effort and time to renovate. Here, you can see the original appearance of the station, including the remaining ancient Japanese buildings. Many precious artifacts from the East China Railway are on display. The park is larger than I expected, and each Japanese building is beautifully preserved. From the corridors to the eaves, every detail is beautiful. Perfect for travelers exploring the railway culture.
