Ruisui Tropic of Cancer Landmark Park

The Tropic of Cancer passes through three places in Taiwan: Chiayi, Ruisui, and Jingpu in Fengbin. This landmark is located in Wuhe, a famous tea producing area in Ruisui. It is said that it was not originally in this place, but was moved here due to the widening of the railway. It has a unique octagonal shape, a huge teapot, a sundial and a starry sky. It is very suitable as a relay rest stop on the journey from Taitung to Hualien. There are also vendors selling food and Ruisui's famous honey-scented black tea next to it. Opposite is the famous Ruisui Tianhe Hotel. Next time you pass by, you might as well stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
