Life in Hualien Taiwan—Mountain, Ocean, and Yoga

I spent 4 years of my university life in Hualien Taiwan. It becomes my favorite place in Taiwan and I aspire to live there in the future. I think Hualien has the most beautiful natural elements in Taiwan. I love living in nature and wake up with the sound of the birds and beautiful sunrise every day. Here I will share the natural spots you have to visit in Hualien.

Nature
📍Baibao River
It’s a river where you can go swimming, river tracing, and even snorkeling!

📍Wanrong Hot Springs♨️
Because of the special condition of the natural surroundings, the water shows the unique turquoise color. You can have a hot spring there to soothe your body.

📍Baiyang Trail
It’s nice to go there in summer, as you will go through a cave and enjoy the refreshing waterfall.

📍Zhuilu Old Road
It is a relatively easy but one of the most beautiful trails among all the mountains in Hualien.

📍Taroko National Park
You can see a lot of unique views such as canyons. Because Taiwan is a geographically relative new island, the mountains are pretty high and the rocks are magnificent due to the compression of the Earth.

📍Dali-Datong Trail
The place is full of the memories of the indigenous people in Taiwan. When you hike there, you will see a historical chapel there that the missionaries built a long time ago.

📍National Dong Hwa University
I always go jogging and do yoga during the sunrise there. The scene is quite beautiful and relaxing. You can also go to the Lake Side to enjoy the beautiful view of the campus.

📍Qixingtan Beach
You will encounter the first sunrise of Taiwan at this beach. The rocks there are round and beautiful due to the erosion of the river.

I really love nature a lot and Hualien is the best place in Taiwan to immerse yourself in nature. I wish you can experience all the beauty here, and I wish you have a good time here🥰
