Hualien General's Mansion

I visited on a weekday in early July. There weren't many people, and it felt like a leisurely stroll. I really enjoyed visiting the Japanese-style houses. You can try Chen Yaoxun's desserts here, and there are a few restaurants to choose from, but they might not be very spacious, so if you're visiting on a weekend, it's better to book in advance. I also ordered an ice cream cone, which was rich and delicious.
