Liyu Lake Scenic Recreation Area and Wetland Park

Liyu Lake in Shoufeng, Hualien
Formed by river capture between the Mugua River and Hualien River, this is a natural dammed lake.
The lake's water comes from underground springs, remaining crystal clear year-round.
It is the largest natural lake in Hualien.

The aquatic plants in the artificial wetland serve to purify the water and reduce pollution,
attracting birds 🐦 and insects 🐛 to create a natural ecological zone 🌱.
