The entire rafting trip takes about three to four hours, with a stop at the Chimei Recreation Area to refuel before continuing the adventure. The thrill of rafting has become a must-do for young people visiting Hualien.

Rafting is available year-round, with peak season typically from April to October. Boats typically depart from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with few departures in the afternoon and no departures after 3:00 PM.
