A weekend getaway to Huizhou for two days was so relaxing! This place offers both beautiful mountain and water scenery and a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for unwinding~

🚶‍♀️ Trip Highlights:
DAY1:
📍 Huidong Black Rock Off-Road Trail: An awesome off-road route! Recommended to rent a 4WD for self-driving fun (Address: Inside Xunliao Bay Scenic Area, Huidong County, Huizhou)
📍 Xunliao Bay Beach: Super relaxing to enjoy the sea breeze here in the afternoon, plus you can try water sports 🏄♀️

DAY2:
📍 Shuangyue Bay Observation Deck: Stunning sunrise views (arrive before 5am)
📍 Sea Turtle Conservation Base: Get up close with giant sea turtles (Ticket: 30 RMB)
📍 Daxingshan Fort: A historical landmark worth visiting

💡 Practical Tips:
1. For the Black Rock Off-Road Trail, it's best to follow a convoy - beginners shouldn't go alone
2. Don't forget sunscreen - the Huizhou sun is intense
3. Any local seafood stall is delicious, highly recommend the salt & pepper mantis shrimp!

Stay near Shuangyue Bay for great value sea-view rooms. We loved our stay at "Haidu Resort Hotel"~
