Baifu Village in Huize

20 kilometers away from the county town of Huize, there is a historical and cultural ancient village called Baifu Village (named after the frequent fog due to its location surrounded by mountains). Baifu Village was a military and commercial post station during the Western Han Dynasty. Since the Ming Dynasty, nearby copper mines began to be developed, and Beifu Village became a major station for transporting copper from the south to the north and the main supply area for copper materials, earning the title of 'the first station of the thousand-mile capital transport.' The ancient buildings in Beifu Village, such as the opera stage and Shoufu Temple, are well preserved in their original state and are not commercialized.
