Huizhou's only remaining ancient city, Chaojing Gate

Location: No. 3, West Huancheng 1st Road, Huicheng District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province

Introduction: Chaojing Gate is the strongest city gate in Huizhou. From the Ming Dynasty to the Republic of China, it witnessed more than 600 years of history, but unfortunately it was destroyed in the war. The Huizhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government rebuilt the tower next to the original site. Construction began in 2005 and was completed at the end of June 2006.
