Spend the summer in Xinjiang and visit the Ili Lavender Garden

The lavender-covered hills during the peak bloom period are as beautiful as being in a fairy tale world, surrounded by a sea of purple. The language of lavender flowers includes waiting for love 💑 and mutual understanding. It symbolizes romance and a happy and beautiful marriage. The meanings of lavender flowers in different colors vary: purple represents hopeless love, blue represents mutual understanding, and pink represents first love.

The farm's lavender is planted along the hillside, creating a feeling of the rolling hills of Provence in photos. Ili is one of the world's three largest lavender planting bases, located at the same latitude of 43 degrees north as Provence. There is also a lavender-themed museum in the garden, which you can visit if you are interested 👀. Summer is a good time to come to Xinjiang to escape the heat and cool off.

There are two lavender gardens here, one called Princess Jieyou Lavender Manor and the other called Jieyou Lavender Farm. We went to the farm, not the manor. The manor covers about 500 acres, while the farm covers about 3,000 acres, which is about 6 times larger.
