🚢A journey to experience the beauty of Art Deco at the Shinko Trade Center, a port town that holds memories

#AbsolutelyFreeTrip

The Shinko Trade Center in Shinkocho, Kobe, is an Art Deco building built in 1930 as a collective office for port operators. It is a beautiful building with attention to detail, including scratch tile exterior walls, round windows, terracotta decorations, and geometric stained glass. ✨
When I actually visited, I was captivated by the curved entrance and decorative staircase, and felt the strength and delicacy of the architecture at the same time. It is perfect for a couple to take a leisurely walk through the port town, or for enjoying the architecture by yourself. Although it is a small building, it is full of things to see!

📍Access: About 10 minutes on foot from Kobe New Transit Port Liner "Trade Center Station" / About 20 minutes on foot from "Sannomiya Station" on all lines

🎟️Travel Tips: Usually only the exterior can be viewed, but the interior is also open to the public during events such as the "Kobe Modern Architecture Festival" 📸. Check the event information in advance and enjoy the beauty of the stained glass and staircase!
