Strawberry Picking in the Air

A strawberry farm on Omishima Island on the Shimanami Kaido.

The strawberries are grown in the air, so they are exposed to sunlight from all angles, resulting in less sour and sweeter strawberries.

The aisles are wide, so customers with strollers and wheelchairs can enjoy the farm. 40 minutes of all-you-can-eat, reservations required.

Even if you don't eat strawberries, you will be charged an admission fee if you wish to enter the greenhouse.

Children (elementary school age and younger) are not allowed to enter alone. They must be accompanied by a guardian.

The biggest feature of this farm is the 150m2 grassland that opens into the greenhouse.

Lots of strawberries are hanging at waist height.

The strawberries are grown in the air, so they are exposed to sunlight from all angles and are bright red.

Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome! You can pick them while standing, so it's easy.
