Glowing Rocks and Underground Magic at Prometheus Cave

#summervacay Okay, Prometheus Cave in Tskaltubo is straight-up magical. Like, you’re literally walking through an underground fantasy land. The cave is massive, full of these wild, drippy stalactites and stalagmites that look like something out of a sci-fi movie. The lighting inside is super cool too, with colors changing as you walk through, making everything glow in the best way.

The guided tour is chill and not too long (around an hour), and they explain the cave’s history and formations without making it boring. You’ll even get to hear how the cave got its epic name, yep, it’s tied to the Prometheus legend. There's also an optional boat ride through the underground river, which is short but definitely worth it for the vibe alone.

Pro tip: wear good shoes because it can get slippery. And bring a jacket, it’s pretty cold inside. Overall, it's a must-visit if you're anywhere near Kutaisi. Totally feels like you’re on another planet!
