It is the highest peak of Wumeng Mountain and was once named "Dongyue" by the King of Nanzhao after the name of Jiangyunnong Mountain. Because of its magical beauty of "combining Mongolian style and Tibetan landscape", it was recommended by "National Human Geography" magazine as one of the 108 most beautiful landmarks in the country.
