Tenkyokaku

Located in Inawashiro Town, Fukushima Prefecture, Tenkyokaku was built in August 1908 as a villa for Prince Takehito Arisugawa, who was captivated by the scenic beauty of Lake Inawashiro. The building is a unique blend of Japanese and Western architectural styles, incorporating elements of Renaissance design. Its white wooden walls and balconies are particularly striking, and it has been designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. Inside, visitors can view original furnishings, furniture, tables, chandeliers, and other items from the era.

The site was also used as a filming location for the movie "The Promised Neverland," making it a popular pilgrimage spot for fans.
