Chinatown Inhwamun (2nd Paeru) Exotic Winter Walk Alone
Yesterday (February 22nd) afternoon, I passed by **Chinatown Inhwamun (2nd Paeru)** and was immersed in the exotic atmosphere. The red pillars and ornate decorations made me feel like I was standing in front of a traditional Chinese building! As I read the sign, it said that this gate symbolizes the friendship between China and Korea, which made it feel even more special.
📌 Points for solo travelers
Hidden spot: Alley next to Inhwamun → Traditional lanterns are lined up, so it is recommended as a photo spot
Recommended food: Fill your stomach with shrimp dim sum set (8,000 won) sold at the nearby 'Golden Dumpling House'
Recommended time: 3-4 PM (time when sunlight gently illuminates the gate tower)
🚨 Notes
Crowded with tourists on weekends (recommended to visit on weekdays)
Sloping alley (comfortable shoes required)
Flash photography prohibited (to protect the artwork)
Around 5 PM, I worked hard on my phone camera with Inhwamun in the background, bathed in sunset light. The store owner told me, "In spring, there is a lantern festival, so it becomes even more splendid," so I look forward to my next visit! I don't know if I can come!!🌸
