Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave

Ishigaki Island has the largest tourist stalactite cave: Ishigaki Island Stalactite Cave. Located at the southernmost tip of Japan, this stalactite cave is a stunning sight created by 200,000 years of nature's meticulous craftsmanship. There are countless must-see attractions here, including the stunning beauty of shimmering stalactites, the dreamlike light show inside the cave, and the water piano cave where you can hear the sound of falling water. The Ishigakijima Shokudo and Ishigaki Product Center, located next to the stalactite cave, offer a variety of gourmet foods and souvenir products.

The Ishigaki Island Stalactite Cave is approximately 3.2 kilometers long, with 660 meters open to the public. The tour takes about 30 minutes, but the interior expands like a honeycomb and feels particularly spacious. Here you can see unique fossils of seabed organisms such as corals and giant clams, proving that this was once an underwater environment. "Wonderland Plaza" will host a fantastic stalactite cave light show and is famous as a place of energy. The temperature in the stalactite cave is a comfortable 22℃ all year round. Families can enjoy the strangely shaped stalactites and clear springs together and enjoy the mysterious beauty created by nature.
