Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey

📍Hagia Sophia

Hagia Sophia is a mosque that represents Turkey.

It used to be free to enter, but from January 2024, non-worshippers will be charged an entrance fee of about 4,000 yen.

In front of the ticket office, tour guides approach tourists, saying that if you hire a guide, you don't have to wait in line for tickets.

Once inside the mosque, there is an audio guide available, so I don't think it's necessary to have a guide. I recommend bringing your own earphones.

Women need to cover their hair, so it's a good idea to bring a scarf or something similar 🧕
